To Laurel from Kari Stuck

Dear Laurel,

It has been amazing to observe the impact and history you have created for the sport of gymnastics. Seattle Pacific, Washington State and the whole gymnastics community truly thrived because of the knowledge, perseverance and care you showed to the sport. I have experienced your impact in many different facets from a club judge, club coaches being friends, a college coach and club coaching together. It is truly unbelievable to think about the impact you have had in many peoples’ lives.

Gymnastics has given me life experiences that has shaped who I am today. The best part are the friendships that I have from SPU gymnastics. They are the friends who will always be part of my life. We are now watching our children grow and maybe even continuing the gymnastics legacy. I am excited to follow your next adventure. Who knows what your next legacy will bring.
